About Us
Cecile Picard is the founder, muralist & designer of Elise French Flair Interiors and murals.
A woman with an adventurous spirit, she has over two decades of experience and she understands that even the simplest changes can have a huge impact on a space. Her extensive resume includes custom murals, residential & commercial interior design, theater set design, painting, sculpture, character development, modeling and animation.
With an impressive background, including a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Otis Parsons Institute of Art in Los Angeles USA, from the Beaux Arts of Dijon in France and two apprenticeships in computer graphics & 3D animation, Cécile brings a varied dynamic to Elise Interiors & Murals. She has done sculpture, character development, modeling and animation with PDI/DreamWorks on films such as Madagascar & Antz. As a painter and sculptor Cécile has had several exhibitions including:

She is also an accomplished theater set designer for productions in the Bay Area.
Having spent 2 years in Bangalore India, Cécile is inspired by the richness of Indian culture and generosity of the people. She loves to collaborate and is dedicated to the heartfelt outcome of her projects.
Murals - Design approach
Depending on the size of the project, I built a team of professional artists to help complete you project in a timely manner.
We like to make custom murals to transform your home, office or exterior into a work of Art.
We start the mural process by getting to know you, listening to your needs, likes, dislikes and seeing the space in person. It is important for us to understand what our vision is. Having done murals in community spaces, we understand the importance of listening to the key stakeholders of a project to make sure every idea is taken into consideration.
Then we synthesize all of the ideas and come up with the themes that will be expressed in the mural . With those ideas as a focus, we will create a preliminary design and we will work with you to further refine the design the composition and the color palette.
The final stage is realization and implementation. The mural comes to life!
Interior Design Approach
We make custom artwork and sustainable design solutions to fit any budget.
To start we will evaluate your current and future needs, the functionality of your space and discuss any custom artwork or fabrications. This is the beginning of the creative process.
We will establish how involved you would like to be in the design process and create a design proposal unique to your space and taste.
Our proposals may include custom mural sketches, floor plans, material lists, schedules, budgets, Pinterest or Houzz boards.
We will work with you to refine the design and source the final furniture, objects, lamps, lighting, color and fabrics if needed.
The implementation of our new design can be done by us or you can hire other professionals at this point.
We offer a full range of design services including custom artwork, curtains and pillows making, vendor negotiations and hiring contractors.
Green Design
Sustainability is important to Elise interiors and Murals. We try to source all our furniture and materials free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) found in synthetic upholstery and finishings, which improves the air quality of the surrounding space. It is important for us to support local business and artisans, so we try to source all nmaterials from the Bay Areaand we use mostly natural materials like walnut, teak, oak, wool ,cotton, jute etc...
